1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small browser records sent with requests. localStorage and sessionStorage keep information on your device. This policy covers all three. Choices are specific to the current site and browser; a merchant’s custom domain has its own choice.
2. Essential and requested features
The session cookie supports sign-in and security, with a configured idle lifetime of 120 minutes. XSRF-TOKEN helps protect form submissions. A remember-me cookie may be set if you choose to stay signed in.
aura_lang can retain a language choice for up to one year. Local storage can keep the theme (aura:theme), mascot sound (aura-voice), cart (bag:*), wishlist (wishlist:*), import drafts (pendingImport and aura-import-appearance:*) and handoff state (aura-import-publish). Session storage may keep temporary workflow and widget state. These support the features you request, not advertising.
Local storage normally remains until the feature removes it or you clear browser data. Session storage normally ends when the tab session ends. Removing draft storage can prevent recovery of an unfinished preview.
3. Optional analytics and advertising
On live merchant shops, analytics can record page views, cart and checkout activity. Google Analytics may use identifiers such as _ga. Marketing integrations can use Meta (_fbp, _fbc, fbclid) and TikTok (_ttp, ttclid) identifiers. Provider storage names and lifetimes can change; review their privacy information for the current details.
These optional scripts and browser events stay disabled until the relevant category is allowed. Purchase information may also be sent from the server to enabled providers using the choice recorded at checkout. Essential order and payment processing continues without optional tracking.
The AURA platform pages do not currently include these merchant advertising pixels. Third-party payment, CAPTCHA, external font or AI services may still receive technical information when their feature is requested; their notices also apply.
4. Set or withdraw your choice
Choose Essential only, Allow optional, or select analytics and marketing separately. Optional boxes start unchecked. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer. Dismissing the settings window or continuing to browse is not optional consent.
Your choice is saved locally for 180 days under aura:consent:v1. If storage is blocked it applies to the current page only. After withdrawal, the page reloads to stop previously loaded trackers and known first-party tracking identifiers are removed where accessible.
Withdrawal stops future browser tracking; it cannot undo data already sent, clear another provider’s domain cookies or automatically revoke a purchase event already authorised at checkout. Contact support about those records. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, but essential features may then stop working.
